Classroom Teacher - 2026 Position: Classroom Teacher All Levels Y1-Y8 Number of Positions: 3 Position 1, Contract Type: 2 Permanent Position 2, Contract Type: 1 Fixed Term Start Date: Term 1, 2026 About Us: We are an Islamic state integrated school in West Auckland. Role Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Classroom Teacher to join our team in 2026 academic year with excellent knowledge and understanding of The New Zealand Curriculum and with strong pedagogical practices. We are seeking an Experienced teacher at all school level Year 1 – Y8. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to our students, creating engaging lesson plans, and fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver effective teaching and learning programmes for students.

 Assess and evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.  Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes positive learning experiences.  Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community to support student learning and well-being.  Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.  Deep respect for and understanding of cultural diversity in Aotearoa New Zealand  ESOL experience would be advantageous  Commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi  Evidence of meeting professional expectations as outlined in Our Code Our Standards - Nga Tikanga Matatika Nga Paerewa. Qualifications and Experience:  Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Education  Current New Zealand Teacher Registration and ability to work in New Zealand immediately.  Proven experience in classroom teaching, preferably within a New Zealand school setting.  Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
