Full job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhan and Iqama for all 5 daily prayers.
- Cover for the Imam during days off, including leading Salah and delivering the Jumu’ah Khutbah when required.
- Open and close the Masjid daily.
- Assist in the delivery of Quran and Islamic studies classes for children.
- Support general administration and caretaking tasks as directed by the Imam/mosque management.
- Maintain cleanliness and security of the Masjid.
- Perform any additional duties appropriate to the role, as directed by management
- Strong knowledge of Islamic teachings and ability to lead prayers confidently.
- Good communication skills and approachable character.
- Experience in Islamic teaching for children is desirable.
- Willingness to undertake caretaking and administrative duties.
- Reliability, punctuality, and dedication to serving the community.
- Candidates must be able to deliver sermons and provide instruction in English.
- Newly qualified graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Preference will be given to applicants who are proficient in Arabic and/or hold qualifications from recognised U.K. institutions.
Exprerience Details
