About the Role
Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) works for the health and dignity of Palestinians living under occupation and as refugees. MAP is the leading UK charity delivering health and medical care to those worst affected by conflict, occupation and displacement, in the occupied Palestinian territory and Lebanon.
Provide home-based health screening, health care and health advice to mothers and infants up to 1 year of age. The post holder will be responsible for managing their own caseload. They will be expected to make complex autonomous clinical decisions regarding patient care with support and supervision from clinical lead.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a BS or equivalent in midwifery or nursing. 5 years relevant experience. Ability to deal with emotionally charged situations. Excellent teamworking skills. Interpersonal and communication skills. Strong observational skills. An interest in the process of pregnancy and birth. Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook.
Ability to use electronic management systems.
Fluent in Arabic; working knowledge of English is strongly preferred.
