Design Specialist

Quran.Foundation is seeking a talented and creative Design Specialist to join our mission of empowering every human being to benefit from the Quran. This role requires proficiency in creating high-quality graphics for social media, campaigns, and educational content, ensuring all materials are visually engaging, consistent, and aligned with our brand. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in typography, layout, and color, with experience producing designs optimized for various digital platforms. Responsibilities
Digital Design and Creative Production
- Design high-quality graphics, posters, infographics, and other visual assets for social media, campaigns, websites, and educational content.
- Develop high-quality designs for social media, website banners, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
- Develop designs that reflect the beauty and message of the Quran while maintaining brand consistency.
Social Media Content Design
- Collaborate with the marketing team to produce attention-grabbing visuals for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
- Adapt and optimize designs for various formats, sizes, and audiences.
- Develop templates, style guides, and design systems to improve content creation efficiency.
Campaign and Project Support
- Design creative assets for awareness campaigns, fundraising initiatives, events, and partnerships.
- Work with different teams to translate ideas into clear, impactful visuals.
Brand Consistency and Innovation
- Maintain a consistent visual identity across all digital materials.
- Stay updated on design trends and explore new creative approaches to keep our content fresh and engaging.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with design trends, digital tools, and platform requirements.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to enhance creativity, streamline workflows, and accelerate content production.
- Experiment with new techniques, layouts, and formats to enhance engagement.
- Implement feedback to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of visuals.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital projects
- Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, or similar
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and color theory
- Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and openness to feedback
- Genuine passion for the Quran and a desire to contribute to a mission that impacts millions
Design Assignment
Design Assignment
To be considered for this highly competitive role, you must successfully complete the following two-part design assignment:
1. QuranReflect Reflection Retreat Poster
Review the current Reflection Retreat poster here. Create a new version that is more visually impactful, engaging, and effective in communicating the event's details and purpose.
2. Quran.com Feature Promotion
Select any existing feature on Quran.com (for example: Goals, Translations, Tafsir, word-by-word recitation, etc.). Create a promotional poster that highlights and encourages users to engage with that feature. Your design should be eye-catching, clear, and aligned with Quran.Foundation's brand and mission.

1. Your completed designs for both parts of the assignment.
2. A brief report explaining your design process, tools used, and reasoning behind your design choices.
3. Your resume detailing your experience and skills.
