Purpose of the Job The Sponsorship Specialist plays a critical role in the Development and Marketing Department. This role focuses on implementing key sponsorship components, strengthening relationships between sponsors and children. Additionally, the Specialist is the primary contact for sponsors and donors in Egypt and international regions, providing donor relations services and system support. Reporting to the Sponsorship Manager, the Specialist ensures smooth communication and high service standards Essential Functions and Responsibilities Sponsorship Components' Management:- Coordinate sponsor visits to sponsored children in Egypt, providing necessary support and translation.
- Handle the internal communication between the Donor Relations team and the Program's staff in Egypt, through responding to sponsor inquiries and children updates.
- Update and maintain sponsor records on the system, documenting sponsorship-related activities and communications.
- Act as a Donor Relations Specialist for certain regions to perform customer services like processing donations and responding to donor calls and emails.
- Utilize the ongoing donor communication to further upsell.
- Bachelor's degree in Communication, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in sponsorship or donor relations, with demonstrated success in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
- Experience with database or contact management software like Salesforce is a plus.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic, written and spoken.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills; detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills and the ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently.
- Persuasive, polished, and articulate communicator; must be comfortable, confident, and courteous on the telephone with stakeholders.
- Typical Office environment: walking, sitting, typing, using office equipment, and occasional lifting of boxes or luggage during travel.
- Local travel for sponsors visits required across Egypt's governorates.
- Working outside official hours and on weekends may be required.
Exprerience Details
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills- Bachelor's degree in Communication, English, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience in sponsorship or donor relations, with demonstrated success in building and maintaining stakeholder relationships.
