| Experience Details | Essential Qualifications For PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) Posts: Academic Qualification: A Master's Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. (The candidate must have studied the same subject at the graduation level.) Professional Qualification: A B.Ed. Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university. For Specific PGT Subjects: PGT Physics: M.Sc. in Physics / Electronic Applied Physics / Nuclear Physics PGT Islamiat / Islamic Studies: M.A. in Islamic Studies PGT Commerce & Business Studies: M.Com (general); Note: M.Com in Applied/Business Economics is not eligible PGT Biology: M.Sc. in Botany/Zoology/Life Science/Genetics/Microbiology/Biotech/etc. with Botany and Zoology at graduation level PGT Chemistry: M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biochemistry PGT Economics: M.A. in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics For TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) Posts: Academic Qualification (any one of the following): A Four-Year Integrated Degree Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks OR A Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in relevant subjects (see post-specific combinations) and aggregate Professional Qualification: A B.Ed. Degree or its equivalent from a recognized university Other Requirements: Pass in CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) – Paper II, conducted by CBSE Proficiency in teaching in both Hindi and English Desirable Qualifications (for both PGT and TGT posts) Knowledge of Computer Applications Ability to Read and Write Urdu Additional Desirables for Specific Subjects: PGT Islamiat / Islamic Studies: Knowledge of Arabic, English, and Urdu Ability to understand and interpret texts of the Quran and Hadith Special Notes: For Commerce PGT, M.Com (Applied/Business Economics) is not eligible For Islamiat and Islamic Studies: Desirable knowledge of Arabic, English, and Urdu with the ability to understand Quran and Hadith |
