Key Responsibilities: Teaching and Learning  Teach Mathematics from KS3 to KS4 (GCSE Level) delivering lessons that are engaging, challenging, and aligned with the national curriculum and exam board requirements.  Demonstrate a deep knowledge of subject content and effective pedagogy, including the use of appropriate resources and strategies.  Maintain a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment with high standards of display and presentation of students’ work.  Actively contribute to the development of a dynamic Mathematics curriculum and enrichment opportunities.  Uphold excellent behaviour management in line with the school’s values and policies. Assessment and Reporting  Monitor, assess, and report on students’ academic progress, identifying needs and tailoring support accordingly.  Mark work constructively and regularly, providing feedback that helps students make sustained progress.  Keep detailed records of student attainment, effort, and behaviour.  Collaborate with colleagues, including learning support and pastoral staff, to provide holistic support to students. Whole School Contribution  Promote and uphold the school’s Islamic ethos, vision and values.  Act as a role model in personal conduct, punctuality, and professionalism.  Participate in school events, open days, CPD sessions, and staff development programmes.  Safeguard and promote the welfare of students at all times.  Contribute to the wider life of the school, including supporting extra-curricular activities, academic interventions and student wellbeing initiatives.
