<strong>PERSON SPECIFICATION</strong> <strong>Qualifications and Training</strong> · 5 GCSE’s A*- C (including Maths and English) or qualifications equivalent to the National Qualifications Framework Level 2 · IT literate <strong>Experience of</strong>- Working in a Admin/Reception Environment
- Good organisational skills, including prioritising, working to deadlines and a can-do attitude. · Good communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully and confidently with telephone callers and visitors, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and diplomacy when required. · The ability to handle confidential material with discretion. · An ability to establish good working relationships. · Ability to work effectively within a team and on own initiative. · Must be accurate in recording details and make full use of the schools computer systems. · A good working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft applications.

- To provide administrative support to the school, working flexibly across a range of functions. 2. To act as an initial point of contact for incoming phone calls, visitors, students, staff and, as such, must be well-presented with a professional, friendly approach. 3. To be an essential member of the Administrative Team and contribute towards the smooth running of the school. 4. To work towards fulfilling the school’s commitment to a high quality of service and to promote and embody the school’s ethos.
- Manning the reception desk; Greeting and signing in of visitors to the school and attending to students and staff at the reception desk 2. Dealing with general telephone and face to face enquiries or directing to the appropriate staff member. 3. Dealing with incoming and outgoing post and distributing deliveries to the relevant staff members. 4. Collating student registration daily and establishing whereabouts of absent students 5. Provide assistance with the school library and occasional supervision of students
