<strong>JOB DESCRIPTION</strong> <strong>Post Title</strong> School Administrative Officer &nbsp; <strong>Purpose</strong>
  1. To provide administrative support to the school, working flexibly across a range of functions. 2. To act as an initial point of contact for incoming phone calls, visitors, students, staff and, as such, must be well-presented with a professional, friendly approach. 3. To be an essential member of the Administrative Team and contribute towards the smooth running of the school. 4. To work towards fulfilling the school’s commitment to a high quality of service and to promote and embody the school’s ethos.
&nbsp; <strong>Reporting to</strong> Head teacher &nbsp; <strong>Key Responsibilities and Duties</strong> <strong>Main Duties</strong>
  1. Manning the reception desk; Greeting and signing in of visitors to the school and attending to students and staff at the reception desk 2. Dealing with general telephone and face to face enquiries or directing to the appropriate staff member. 3. Dealing with incoming and outgoing post and distributing deliveries to the relevant staff members. 4. Collating student registration daily and establishing whereabouts of absent students 5. Provide assistance with the school library and occasional supervision of students
<strong>Other Specific duties</strong>
  1. To attend daily and weekly meetings, in accordance with school policy.
