| Experience Details | Qualifications and Job Experience Required: University degree in social sciences, human resources, community development, or a related field is an asset. Strong knowledge of positive youth development frameworks. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to respond to youth requests with patience and enthusiasm; understanding when to escalate issues appropriately. Proven ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and long-time volunteers. Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver excellent customer service. Ability to create and sustain strong working partnerships with other team members while contributing to a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the organization. Requirements: Must be available to work in person at our center in Mississauga, ON. Must be available evenings and weekends as required for programming. Must be able to communicate effectively in English. Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and meet all necessary employment requirements. Must obtain a valid Vulnerable Sector Screening or equivalent background check, as necessary for working with children in an educational setting in the province of Ontario. |
