| Experience Details | • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in Islamic Studies or related field from an accredited higher education institution. • Fluency in English (Spoken and written). • Fluency in Arabic (Spoken and written). • Fluency in Tamil (Spoken and written). • Comprehensive knowledge of Islamic Sharia. • Memorised the Qur'an, preferably a Hafiz of Qur’an. • Practical experience as an Imam or Assistant Imam, ideally in the UK. • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills • Willingness to supervise the madrasa team as well as be supervised by the management committee. • Experience in Islamic family and youth counselling or is willing to undergo training. • Experience in pre-marital and marital counselling or is willing to undergo training. • Experience in teaching and explaining Islam to Non-Muslims. |
