About ICD: The Islamic Center of Detroit (ICD) is one of the largest & most active Islamic Centers in the Metro-Detroit area. It serves one of the largest Muslim communities in the US through diverse, creative, inclusive and relevant programs and activities. Full Time Imam/Community Religious Leader Responsibilities: ● Lead prayers and deliver the Friday Khutbah ● Inspire the spiritual growth for the different segments of the community through public and private classes, programs, and lectures. ● Provide funeral services and guidance ● Provide religious matrimonial/divorce services and guidance ● Collaborate with the mental wellness team as needed ● Foster Unity and inclusion within Islamic guidelines among all local members of the southeast Michigan community ● Engage in the community activities that further good multifaith and public relations for Islam and Muslims ● Provide consultation to the Masjid committees on religious matters, community religious issues, and Mosque religious activities ● Maintain regular office hours for the community ● In coordination with the executive director, support the ICD annual fundraising events & Ramadan Program Salary and Benefits: The compensation package is very competitive and depends on qualifications and experience
