Position Summary

An Islamic School Teacher is responsible for fostering a positive, engaging, and faith-centered learning environment that supports students’ academic growth, character development, and Islamic identity. The teacher integrates high-quality instructional practices with Islamic values to nurture students intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with grade-level academic standards and school curriculum.
• Incorporate Islamic values, manners (akhlaq), and character education into daily instruction and classroom interactions.
• Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and positive behavior.
• Assess student progress regularly and maintain accurate academic records.
• Complete student academic reports (interims and report cards) during assigned reporting periods.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
• Communicate effectively with parents, administration, and colleagues regarding student progress and concerns.
• Implement classroom management systems that support student success.
• Participate in school events, professional development, staff meetings, and Islamic school activities.
• Model Islamic conduct, professionalism, and ethical behavior at all times.
• Follow school policies and procedures in accordance to our Staff Policy Handbook
• Work cooperatively as a team player by sharing resources, supporting colleagues, participating in planning discussions, and contributing to a positive professional culture.
• Participate and complete assigned tasks during Professional Learning Committees (PLC).
• Attend and participate in a positive manner during staff meetings, team meetings, and PLC’s.

Work Environment
