About the Role

AL-AZHAR ISLAMIC ACADEMY (AIA) is seeking passionate, student-centered educators to join our growing school community. We are hiring full-time subject teachers for upper elementary and middle grades (Grades 4–7) in Mathematics, Science, English Language Arts (ELA), and Social Studies.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with California Common Core State Standards (CCSS) and applicable frameworks.
  • Create a structured, respectful, and engaging classroom environment that promotes student learning and responsibility.
  • Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners, including English Learners and students needing academic intervention.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor progress and guide instruction.
  • Maintain effective classroom management and student supervision.
  • Collaborate professionally with colleagues, administration, and families.
  • Integrate social-emotional learning, positive character development, and school values into instruction.
  • Maintain accurate grades, lesson plans, and student records.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities.

Exprerience Details
