Job Description
Amova Care is seeking a compassionate and culturally aware home health aide to provide in-home support to an elderly Muslim client living with dementia in Naperville, Illinois. This part-time position emphasizes person-centered care that respects the client's dignity, faith, and Islamic values.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADL) including personal hygiene with sensitivity to modesty and privacy requirements
- Provide light housekeeping and laundry services
- Prepare and serve halal-compliant meals
- Administer medication reminders and support
- Apply dementia-specific care techniques, including redirection and behavioral support
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Observe and report any changes in the client's condition to supervisors
