Main Duties:

Various administrative roles supporting the school's daily operations, communications, and student services. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.

Teaching at Al Madina

Candidates who are being considered for Class or Subject Teacher positions will be invited to an interview with our Hiring Committee. Candidates who are short-listed after that interview will then be asked to teach a demonstration lesson to one of our classes while being observed by members of the Hiring Committee. A benefits package is provided for salaried staff working full time including a 60% tuition discount for teachers' children enrolled in our school.

Substitute Teachers

We also accept resumes for our Substitute Teacher List throughout the school year. Applicants who are selected for our Substitute Teacher List are invited for an orientation and for observing in a classroom. Rate of pay is commensurate with level of education and experience.

Who are we searching for?

We can begin our search for experienced class and subject teachers anytime in the school year. We favor applicants who are eligible for a Virginia Teaching Certificate (i.e. hold a Bachelor of Education degree) and/or proven teaching experience.

We are looking for warm, imaginative, committed, and dynamic individuals to join our faculty and community. In addition, we look for teaching assistants, preferably those with experience, as well as support staff for our growing enrollment.

Exprerience Details

  • B.S. from an accredited College from within the United States in Education, Early Childhood Education, Middle/High Education or related fields
  • Must have at least 2 years of working experience in the field of Education
  • Must have valid work permit and proof of residency in the U.S.
