This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering regional fundraising growth, leading a high-performing team, and building meaningful relationships with supporters, volunteers, community groups and key stakeholders who share our commitment to transforming lives worldwide. Based in the North region, this role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference by developing and implementing regional fundraising strategies, maximising community engagement, and ensuring sustainable income generation to support Islamic Relief's humanitarian work. About the role:   As the Regional Community Fundraising Manager, you will lead the delivery of Islamic Relief UK's community fundraising strategy across the North region, ensuring the achievement of agreed financial and non-financial targets. You will manage and motivate a team of Community Fundraising professionals, working collaboratively with volunteers, local support groups, partners and stakeholders to grow supporter-led fundraising activity and strengthen Islamic Relief's presence within local communities. The role requires a strong focus on relationship management, strategic planning and team leadership, ensuring fundraising activities are impactful, supporter-centric and aligned with organisational objectives. You will also act as the key Islamic Relief representative for the region, building influential networks and identifying opportunities to maximise income and long-term supporter engagement. About you:  You will be a confident and inspiring leader with a proven track record in fundraising, people management and stakeholder engagement. Passionate about developing others and building strong community relationships, you will be committed to delivering outstanding results while embodying Islamic Relief's values and mission.
Islamic Relief is a faith-inspired humanitarian aid and development agency working to save and transform the lives of some of the world’s most vulnerable people. We work in over 45 countries, assist people of all faiths and none according to need and do not discriminate in any way. Our proximity means we can often respond swiftly to emergencies and work in areas that other organisations cannot access. We are the only UK-based Muslim faith-inspired charity to have been certified against the Core Humanitarian Standard on Quality and Accountability (CHS), which is designed to ensure that charities best meet the needs of the communities they serve. Islamic Relief is a member of the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC), we have Consultative Status with the UN Economic and Social Council, and we are a signatory to the Code of Conduct for the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
