Here at Human Appeal UK we have an exciting opportunity for a Mosques Coordinator to join our team based in London/remote UK. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year term. As Mosques Coordinator the successful candidate will develop and maximize the income generated from the Mosques in the UK by:

• Supporting management/building relationships with the Mosques in the UK.
• Securing bookings for collections during Ramadan and all year round.
• Networking and maintaining good relationship with Mosques by frequently visiting and communicating with them
• Recruiting mosque volunteers and promoting Human Appeal (HA) brand
• All in order to maximise fundraising income and awareness for HA.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Mosques Coordinator:

• Establish relationships with a large portfolio of mosques in respect region.
• Manage and complete collections during Ramadan and all the year.
• Maintain frequent visits and communicating with mosque key stakeholders.
• Create a circle of mosque volunteers, and successfully utilise them.
• Maximise fundraising income and awareness for HA year on year, achieving agreed targets with a return on investments.

What were looking for in Mosques Coordinator:

1. Education: Minimum completion of secondary education. GCSE Mathematics and English
2. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in similar post, Knowledge of Islamic charitable giving e.g. Zakat, Qurbani, Waqf, Fitrana, Fi-dya
3. Computer Skills: MS Office Suite
4. Languages: Fluent English. Desirable- Arabic Languages or Urdu as well
