Position Purpose: 

The purpose of this role is to research and study new trends impacting youth and young adults from an Islamic perspective. This is accomplished through,

1. Research and analysis of literature reviews

2. Surveys and research methods

3. Contribution to the field and domain

 

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct research on the needs of youth in the areas of gender identity, suicide, atheism, substance abuse, crisis stabilization, leadership development and personal growth and professional development.

2. Contribute to the body of knowledge through producing literature and research papers in the areas of gender identity, suicide, atheism, substance abuse, crisis stabilization, leadership development and personal growth and professional development to be published in an ILIA quarterly academic journal, and other research publications.

3. Develop content suitable for the general public, youth ages 9-24, parents, school teachers and administrators, public servants and nonprofits on tips and best practices to address positive youth development needs in the areas of crisis stabilization, leadership development and personal growth and professional development from the Islamic and medical perspectives to be published on ILIA’s social media and websites.
