Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qur'an Teacher's (2x Male, 1x Female) to join our ambitious, unique and data-driven educational team. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver high quality education at our reputable academy where we shape the minds of the entire community. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Tajweed, Islamic Studies and Basic Arabic lessons using content made by Fussilat Academy, teaching students on recitation and memorisation of du'a, kalimah and Surah. You will foster a positive learning environment, support students' academic and personal development and inspire the future generation. You must be soft and caring in your opportunity, whilst assisting students in their . Day: Saturday (term time only) Time: 09:30 to 13:00 Pay: £13.00 per hour (outside IR35) Subjects Taught: Recitation (Qur'an/Qaida), Memorisation, Tajweed, Arabic and Islamic Studies Duties

• Responsible for the Islamic and spiritual development of assigned students.
• Maintain a high level of education across all subjects (recitation, memorisation, Tajweed, Arabic and Islamic Studies) towards termly targets set by Fussilat Academy.
• Deliver the content set out by Fussilat Academy and prepare engaging activities to supplement the content provided to reinforce learning.
• Effectively manage behaviour, motivate and inspire students of different abilities.
• Produce termly reports
• Ensure all policies, standards of guidelines are adhered to.
• Input feedback and homework directly into the Student Trackers, whilst utilising this to both monitor student progress and raise concerns.
• Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required from the Head Teacher.

Requirements

• UK based Islamic Education
• UK based maktab teaching experience
• A good/high level of practical Tajweed
• Computer literate
• Effectively manage a class
• Passionate about teaching Islam
• Structured and methodical approach
• Dedicated, motivated and effectively delivers on their requirements.
• Willing to learn and adapt - we require all of our teachers to grow with us where we provide individualised development programmes
• Must have a laptop as part of your role

About Us Fussilat Academy, established in September 2017, is an online and onsite Islamic school (maktab) providing classes for children (5+) and adults (18+). We produce bespoke teaching content instilled with Tarbiyah, proving a great success with parents, students and staff. Additionally, we have a data-centric approach to tracking student and staff progress, allowing us to effectively monitor performance and identify areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
