We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and committed Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the school premises. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of students and staff by ensuring all areas are maintained to a high standard. You will work under the supervision of the School Business Manager and Site Manager and be expected to carry out duties independently while contributing to the smooth running of the school.   Key Responsibilities Clean classrooms, offices, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with school procedures Replenish cleaning supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls Report any maintenance issues, damages, or health and safety concerns Ensure cleaning equipment is used and stored safely Follow all health and safety and COSHH regulations Support deep cleaning during school holidays or scheduled periods Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times   Essential Skills & Experience
  • Previous cleaning experience (school or similar environment desirable)
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning methods and safe use of cleaning equipment
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Good attention to detail and high standards of work
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
  • Understanding of health and safety practices

  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills – desirable
