Position Overview:

The Youth Engagement Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing programs and strategies to engage young people in alignment with the organization’s mission. This role involves building strong relationships with youth by involving them in charity campaigns for online and in-person fundraising. organizing events and initiatives, and fostering an  environment that empowers youth involvement.

Key Responsibilities

Program Development & Management
  • Design and implement youth-focused programs and initiatives that promote leadership, advocacy, and community service with the goal of promoting fundraising for Droplets of Mercy.
  • Facilitate workshops, events, and training to engage youth participants meaningfuly.
  • Develop outreach strategies to recruit and retain diverse youth participants.
  • Monitor and evaluate program outcomes to ensure effectiveness and continuous improvement.
  • Create volunteer programs around the country. Responsible for outreach, data collection, and booking volunteers for events for Droplets of Mercy USA.
  • Manage program budgets and track expenditures.
Budgeting & Reporting
  • Lead development of the annual organizational budget in collaboration with leadership.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Present financial updates to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Provide forecasts and financial analysis to support decision-making

Exprerience Details

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, Nonprofit Management, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred but not required.
  • 2–5 years experience working with youth in a leadership or program management role.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to relate to and motivate youth from diverse backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of positive youth development (PYD) principles.
  • Experience with event planning, program evaluation, and community outreach.
  • Proficiency with digital tools (email, social media, databases).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed.
